You can call the Peer Counselors at any time to get breastfeeding help.

Our Peer Counselors are Certified Lactation Counselors (CLC).

Peer Counselor Mother to Mother Program
Breastfeeding Classes and Support
That's not all!! WIC offers breastfeeding classes and one-on-one breastfeeding support. All of our WIC Program nutritionists are Certified Lactation Counselors (CLC), and two are International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (ICBLC). They can provide:

Hands on breastfeeding support and education when you come to the office

Manual breastfeeding pumps and other breastfeeding items

Electric breastpump rentals

Referrals to the Peer Counselor Program and the MILC Group
MILC~ Mother Infant Lactation Club
Meet other moms, learn more about breastfeeding, and build your network!

Mondays 10:00am - 11:30am

The Mother Infant Lactation Club will provide a friendly, comfortable and supportive
environment for families to meet to discuss their questions regarding breastfeeding,
newborn care, adjusting to parenthood, and breast pump use.
​
